Well… well, its been a while since I used the keyboard on my laptop for something other than booking flights or googling the adverse effects of topical corticoids. Whoops! Life got busy, but I’m a much more organized/ professional version of myself this time around. How will I manage Blogging, Vlogging, documenting my wonderul life in Europe whilst studying and maintaining a perfect relationship with the people I love… not exactly sure ( probably get a VA), but where there is a will, there is a way.
My blogpost on Miami’s most instagram worthy spots (here)has over 100,000 views and like 5,000 repins on pinterest! So therefore, I thought… I owe it to you to do an updated version of it.
1. Vizcaya Museum
3251 S Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33129
If you’ve had the chance to visit Venice you will appreciate the beautiful exterior that surrounds this museum. Vizcaya’s Venetian charm is what brings all the Miami locals here. During your visit you’ll see tens of 15 year old girls taking their Quinceañera photos along with newly engaged couples in their photoshoots. The air here just smells royal–unlike Venice.
2. Miami’s Design District
4010-4000 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33137
Its up and coming and it’s here to take over. This was the busiest, chicest place we strolled in during our 5th Miami stay together and it really gives the elevated essence of what Miami is. Its bright, fun, chic and modern. This area had a European flair with a latin touch and what part of that doesn’t sound perfect?
3. Crandon Park
6747 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne, FL 33149,
Hidden little paradise. Who would have thought a beach in Miami wouldn’t be crowded! This might be the one and only. The golden hour amongst the palms is perfection.
3201 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140
To be honest we aren’t hotel people. We prefer a chic Miami Airbnb approach to the situation where people don’t knock on your door to clean at 9am but every now and then a good hotel can change your mind. Faena is it. The entire location (Hello, Collins Ave) is idyllic with its’ posh hotels and buzzing restaurants but Faena has something to it. The interior looks like Versace co-designed the place and if that isn’t enough for you to go take a peek inside, then I’m not sure what will.
5. Dior Cafe
162 NE 39th St.
Miami, FL 33137
Chic miami vibes galore. This place is bright and inviting … and a bit crowded. Someone had recommended it to me and we swung by to see what the hype was about. It’s brunch worthy. Gram worthy. Just try to go early so your pics won’t have everyone and their mom there.
We are frequent flyers to Miami, so stay tuned for upcoming spots! 😉
